Boat History - 1998 Ocean Yacht 48 Super Sport "Web Surfer"

The Web Surfer has had two owners, originally commissioned in Sandusky, Ohio and brought to Florida in 2013 by the Current Owner. Boat had 300 Original hours when purchased in 2012. The mains currently have 850 hours on twin Caterpillar 3196 660 HP diesel engines. The boat was relocated back to Erie, PA in 2021.

The Web Surfer has always been captained maintained for most of current ownership. The captain physically inspected the boat every other week, turning every motor, switch, electrical, a/c and every function of the boat on, tested, logged the results and sent owner a 4 -7 page report each inspection. The records of these inspections and services are documented in a logbook maintained by captain and the owner. The vessel was always maintained with open check book if any inspection discovered any issue, light bulb, filter cleaning, whatever was discovered, it was immediately corrected. The boat was washed and waxed every month.
