Ranger Tugs R-27 Luxury Edition Overview

Long Recess is a well outfitted 2019 Ranger Tugs R-27 Luxury Edition that has been very nicely maitained throughout its single ownership. The boat features a fully enclosed cockpit, a summer kitchen with an electric grill, live well below the lift out grill, a hot and cold sink, an additional refrigerator, an electric Kenyon grill and a propane locker to port of the summer kitchen. The Yamaha 300 HP main outboard motor and a Yamaha 9.9 auxilary outboard motor provides more than enough power to cruise this boat upward of 40 knots. A 140 watt solar panel has also been installed to provide an additional charging option for the batteries. This boat has completed the Great Loop, is fully equipped with PFDs, galleyware, bedding, fenders and spares. She is turnkey and ready to continue on the Great Loop or other cruising adventures. An additional 2019 triple axle trailer is also available but not included.

Ranger Tugs R-27 Luxury Edition Walk Through

From the fiberglass swim platform, you step through the starboard transom door into the cockpit. On the cockpit, you walk into the main cabin through the large glass and aluminum hinged door to port or up either port or starboard narrow walkway to the foredeck. Once inside the main cabin, you will find the galley along the port bulkhead with a navigators chair forward to port, the convertible 4 place dinette\cockpit seat\captains bench seat\additional berth to starboard, the guest cabin below the dinette and the helm forward to starboard. The master stateroom and head is down and forward from the helm. Generator access is via the lazarette hatch.

Ranger Tugs R-27 Luxury Edition Accommodations

Long Recess offers a master stateroom forward with a V-berth and direct access to the head, a guest stateroom aft and to starboard in the main cabin with a single berth and the dinette can convert to sleep 1-2 additional guests.

Ranger Tugs R-27 Luxury Edition Main Cabin

The bright and airy main cabin features a comfortable 4 place dinette that converts to a Captains bench seat, a berth to sleep 1-2 additional guests and an additional cockpit seat. The entrance to the guest stateroom is aft of the dinette to starboard, a nice size galley with all the necessary equipment along the port bulkhead and the full helm forward of the dinette. The forward side windows open and include screens and curtains and the glass panel aft of the dinette folds up to open to the cockpit. Three overhead hatches and two additional roof windows provide natural light and ventilation to the space. The sole is synthetic teak and holly.

The galley is located along the port bulkhead in the main cabin and features:

The master stateroom is forward and offers a V-berth with both a 2" and 3" custom cut memory foam toppers, under berth storage, reading lights, speakers, synthetic teak and holly sole, an overhead hatch with blind and screen, one portlight both port and starboard, a hanging locker and storage cabinets to port, direct access to the head starboard and a Jensen 19" flat screen TV with built-in DVD player.

Ranger Tugs R-27 Luxury Edition Guest Stateroom

The guest stateroom is aft and to starboard in the main cabin and offers a single size berth with a reading light and privacy hatch.

Ranger Tugs R-27 Luxury Edition Cockpit

The cockpit is completely enclosed with a canvas bimini, isinglass side and rear panels with screens and features a summer kitchen with an electric grill, live well below the lift out grill, a hot and cold sink, an electric Kenyon grill and a propane locker to port of the summer kitchen. There are two fold down bench seats and a removeable hardwood table aft center that can also be used for dining or entertaining. An additional small refrigerator is located forward to port in the cockpit. There are molded steps up to the narrow side walkways on both sides. There are three hatches in the cockpit sole for access to the generator, bilge, storage, steering, water heater and battery compartments. The swim platform has a stainless steel staple rail and a stainless steel swim ladder is to starboard. An additional rear awning is also included.
