LOW KEY is the epitome of a traditional Sunny Briggs jig-built cold-molded Carolina sportfish that is so beautiful, words fail to describe her. This is truly a boat where a vessel walk-through is worth ten thousand words! Her teak interior is nothing short of astonishing! The 4 stateroom / 3 head accommodations and the custom rod storage locker, are GORGEOUS—superyacht quality. The luxurious amidships master suite is full beam with large en-suite head. LOW KEY’s forward stateroom features an unusual custom arrangement with a large single berth below on portside and two upper single berths on outboard sides that dovetail at the forepeak.
LOW KEY's bridge and cockpit are perfectly arranged and fitted for pelagic trolling with Rupp hydraulic outriggers, Release Trillion fighting chair, Epoch teaser and dredge reels, loads of rod holders, rod storage, refrigerator and freezer compartments, Eskimo ice chippers, transom live well, fish boxes—all neatly hidden, yet easily accessed when needed. The Briggs hull form is well-known for its trademark dry, comfortable ride and ability to take on head seas with ease. LOW KEY’s Seakeeper 12 gyrostabilizer eliminates roll for extra comfort. Powered by twin 1150hp CAT C-18 diesels with ZF pod transmissions and joystick controls for superior maneuverability and efficient performance.
Do not miss this rare opportunity to own a custom Sunny Briggs 61 that is truly unique among all sportfish yachts in her class!

This masterpiece of teak craftsmanship is not only luxurious, but custom built and fitted to be highly fishable. After all, Sunny Briggs was one of the Outer Banks pioneering sportfish builders who fished the charter boats from an early age and learned boatbuilding from the Carolina legends! LOW KEY has all the advantages of the Steve French/Applied Concepts designed hull and CNC engineered jig, along with modern materials that enhance performance and efficiency…and comfortable, dry ride.
A major component of LOW KEY’s excellent maneuverability and enhanced efficiency are her 1150hp CAT C18 diesels that are paired with ZF Pod 400 HD transmissions with ZF electronic controls. Pod drives eliminate the need for shafts, struts, and rudders, and are more hydrodynamic than the traditional shaft/rudder system. They operate independently of one another via easy joystick control to provide vectored thrust in any direction, making thrusters unnecessary. The pod drives allow LOW KEY to carve tighter turns at speed and make it easy to dock and back up on a fish.
