Designed by Michael Peters in collaboration with Sarrazin Design, the Leader 7.5 WA brings together exceptional performance, all-around good looks, and great onboard living into one impressive 24-foot package. Powered by a single 250HP outboard Yamaha engine will reach a top speed of 46 mph while you will cruise comfortably at 30 mph.
The extended flush swim platforms allow easy access onboard for your crew. Beginning all the way aft, the U-shaped bench complete with a center table provides plenty of seating that cleverly folds away when not in use.
True to the Jeanneau DNA, the Leader 7.5 has an optional custom T-top along with a sleek profile windscreen. Moving forward to the bow, a sun pad stretched the full width with two adjustable backrests, perfect for those days in the sun.
Slip below and you'll find a nice spacious salon with plenty of seating, a small galley, and a private head. For overnights, the seating area easily converts to make a double berth, making the Leader 7.5 much more than just a day boat.
Cockpit
The boat has a spacious cockpit for a boat of its size, there is a seating area towards the stern of the cockpit. They are positioned in a clever arrangement comprising a central fixed bench sufficient for two or three people, with storage beneath. These seats all have removable cushions. An occasional cockpit table is provided, for the mounting point in front of the rear seats, and the two helm seats can rotate to face the rear so that this can be used by all.
Moving forward you will find two helm seats, which provide a great position for running the boat, your navigation equipment is all within touching distance. The helm seats provide either a leaning post or a deep secure seating position with the movement of the seat bolster. They can rotate to provide access and flexibility of positioning as well as vertical adjustment.
The vessel benefits from the sun pad conversion, which slides out from beneath the rear seat on runners and, using drop down gas struts and an infill cushion converts the whole rear deck area to a large flat sunbathing area or double bed.
The deck itself has a large lazarette on gas struts beneath for storage, and access as well as a large, self-draining lockable water ski locker to port. A live baitwell / storage is provided from a draining locker inset into the port boarding footway and a bathing ladder is inset into the adjacent bathing platform.
Discreet low-level blue LED lighting compliments the rear cockpit area.
The seating area toward the front of the boat provides another comfortable place to relax. Here you will two built in fold-flat seat backs, that can be raised to enable a reclined position. The whole bow area infills with two large cushions and makes a further flat and comfortable area for safe relaxing or seating, even when underway.
Cabin
Access to the surprisingly bright and spacious cabin is via sliding door in the center console.
Two steps down into the wood floored cuddy cabin reveals the head immediately on the right, beyond its own door. The Jabsco marine head has a holding tank fitted.
On the left as you enter is the galley area. This comprises a cabinet housing the sink / handbasin, a Dometic fridge below. There is a small forward-facing opening portlight which can provide ventilation even in inclement conditions. Further forward is a larger opening roof hatch, for ventilation or access from the foredeck. This has both a built-in screen and blackout screen, opening on gas struts.
Two long, dark tinted windows on each extend nearly full length of the cabin, providing an expansive view out but privacy within. Beneath each is a long, edged shelf for storage and more is provided beneath each side and forward seats. The seats can be used as two single berths, or by using the removable infill, a double berth. There is an additional removable table located in the cabin.
