PIVOT, the 2013 Marlow Explorer 97E CB, is an incredible design. She sleeps as many as 14 in 6 staterooms and has crew accommodations for 4. Thanks to an interior re-design, this boat has a much different look than any other Marlow. Beautiful teak joinery from the factory accents many surfaces that are now covered in whites and blues for a bright, sophisticated feel. Upgraded systems like Naiad fin stabilizers, Seakeeper gyro stabilization, and two 1,400 gpd Sea Recovery water makers make experiences aboard even more comfortable. Her 5,000 gallon fuel capacity enables a range of over 3,500 miles with plenty in reserve. Although she has an enclosed flybridge, there are more than enough outdoor areas for fresh air, including a second galley on the upper aft deck.

Galley

Up three steps from the interior dining room is the galley, which is designed for professional crew. It is accessed from the interior companionway, which leads forward to the owner suite, or from the side deck on the port side. The companionway entrance lies within steps of the interior stairwell to the flybridge as well, providing smooth flow for crew.

On-Deck Owner Suite

Forward of the galley is the On-Deck owner suite. A king-sized berth is forward, surrounded by large windows. A sofa and a desk/make-up table are on the port side and to starboard are a large row of cabinets and a hanging closet. The TV is mounted to the aft bulkhead, behind which is a very large head. The original teak cabinetry and wall coverings in this stateroom have been tastefully refinished in satin white.

Lower Companionway

Forward and down from the dining room are stairs leading to the lower companionway where the other five staterooms are located. The sole is bamboo and teak, and a long console is found along the starboard hull side, containing a washer and dryer, as well as a sink, refrigeration, microwave oven, and storage cabinets.

VIP Stateroom

Below and amidship, double doors open to the VIP stateroom. This room is very large and inviting, thanks to the contrast of blue wall coverings and crisp, white linens, which are further brightened by natural light from the three large portlights. Bamboo and teak soles surround the walk-around king-sized berth and the ensuite head is found aft, on the starboard side.

Forward Stateroom

Farthest forward lies a stateroom with a queen-sized berth flanked to port and starboard by raised single berths. Drawers beneath the bed and hanging lockers provide storage and the ensuite head is aft, to starboard.

Port Guest Stateroom

Enclosed Flybridge

Beyond being an incredible vantage point for the captain from the expansive main helm, the enclosed flybridge is yet another wonderful space for entertaining or a secluded area for morning coffee and/or work. The comfortable L-shaped seating area is aft of the large helm and double companion seat, separated by cabinetry containing a large refrigerator. Upper side decks may be reached through doors to port and starboard and the aft door leads to the upper deck galley and dining area.

Flybridge Boat Deck

Aft Deck

An extra-long flybridge overhang covers a dining area for 8 people on the roomy aft deck. Access to side decks and the swim platform are to port and starboard, as well as bulwark gates. Forward to starboard and flanking the door to the salon are molded consoles containing refrigeration, a sink, storage, and an auxiliary control station. To port are stairs to the flybridge and outboard of those is a door to the crew quarters and another door to a day head.
