WISHING STAR is a 1963 Trumpy and the only 84’ of its kind built in the desirable cruiser configuration. Commissioned by Col. David Flagstaff and originally named PINTAIL, she then went on to be called ARAS then ACHASTES. Finally in 1984 she was named WISHING STAR by Mr. Michael Egan (Alamo Rent-a-car) and she has held this name since. 1997 through 1999 she saw an exhaustive $2.2 million complete rebuild returning WISHING STAR to literally new condition in all respects. She has always had long-term owners who have all proven to be first-rate custodians, continuously upgrading and improving her along the way. Most recently she had the entire aft cockpit deck and structure rebuilt as well as an extensive yard period by the experts at Bristol Marine at their Boothbay Harbor Samples shipyard location in Maine. The generous aft cockpit is ideally suited for cocktailing or cruising with an icemaker, refrigerator and large custom teak table which seats 6 to 8 comfortably. The swim platform provides easy water access for fishing or watersports. Those inspecting her will find her in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition, with updated systems ready to go.
