Wattrus was born on the coast of Durban, South Africa and started his journey into yachting at an early age. Growing up on the coast, Mark found a passion in free dive spearfishing after having been trained under the guidance of world record holder, Trevor Hutton. The underwater life ultimately pushed Mark to pursue a life on the water.
Mark has spent his career leading expedition style fishing and diving charters, yacht deliveries, and for the last several years, running luxury live aboard charters in the Seychelles, Madagascar, East Africa and several islands in the Caribbean chain.
