Northrop & Johnson Vice President/CFO Mariette Merrigan was born and raised in Southern California. She traveled the world on the Semester at Sea while a student at the University of Colorado, Boulder, which she confesses was her only experience of life at sea prior to joining Northrop & Johnson. It also was as a student at CU that she met fellow student, Kevin Merrigan. After graduating from CU, Mariette spent many happy years in Boulder, Colorado, skiing, rock climbing and working as a paralegal, focusing primarily on real estate closings, escrow management and corporate law.

In 1994, Mariette joined Kevin in Fort Lauderdale and became a part of the Northrop & Johnson family. Her responsibilities have evolved as the company has grown. Her previous years of experience in real estate and corporate law translated well to her various responsibilities as Vice President and CFO. Kevin, Mariette and their son, Matthew, are currently living happily ever after in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
