Originally from St. Croix, US Virgin Islands, LeAnn Morris Pliske grew up enjoying what most charter clients are searching for: the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean. An avid scuba diver since age 11, LeAnn spent every weekend and holiday on her family’s boat exploring the British and US Virgin Islands.

After graduating from American University in Washington, DC, LeAnn worked at the White House under President Clinton and then in New York City as an Account Executive with a large international public relations firm. Wanderlust set in and she went in search of more tropical climates. Prior to embarking on her career as a charter broker, LeAnn cruised the waters from Grenada to Corsica, and virtually every port in between as a Chief Stewardess on several large motor yachts for five years.

Attending numerous international charter yacht shows each year, LeAnn scrutinizes each yacht becoming familiar with the crew, enabling her to provide guidance to her clients, so they may choose the best fit for their perfect yacht vacations. As a mother of two school-age children, LeAnn understands how valuable your time together is and works doggedly to ensure the vacation of a lifetime. A passion for travel has led her to explore most destinations yachts frequent, as well as the “off the beaten path” notable locales of the Galapagos, the Amazon River, Raja Ampat and Komodo Islands, French Polynesia and the Great Barrier Reef. This unique knowledge aids LeAnn in guiding her clients to these incredible experiences.

LeAnn expertly combines her extensive communications background, global knowledge of the yachting industry and her passion for chartering in her position as Senior Charter Broker at Northrop & Johnson. Volunteering her time to support the yacht charter industry, LeAnn is the Co-Chair of IYBA’s Charter Retail Professional Committee as well as the Chair of the Ethics Committee for the AYCA (American Yacht Charter Association).
