Allen has shared his time with industry associations including the Yacht Brokers Association of America (YBAA) as a former member of the Board of Directors and spent many years sitting on YBAA’s Professional Standards and Ethics Committee. He was one of the first out of state yacht brokers to be licensed in Florida, first admitted to the Florida Yacht Brokers Association (FYBA) and has also been active on various industry technical and advisory committees.
